According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2021:

  1. California: 16,400
  2. Alaska: 6,900
  3. Minnesota: 4,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2021:

  1. Michigan: -5,800
  2. Illinois: -3,800
  3. District of Columbia: 0
