According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2022:

  1. California: 11,600
  2. Alaska: 7,000
  3. Illinois: 6,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2022:

  1. Michigan: -6,300
  2. Mississippi: -500
  3. Montana: -100
