According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2022:

  1. Michigan: 10,400
  2. California: 7,200
  3. Illinois: 2,900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2022:

  1. Mississippi: -600
  2. Maryland: -300
  3. Montana: -200
