According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Mining, Logging and Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2008:

  1. New York: 7,100
  2. Minnesota: 7,000
  3. Illinois: 6,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Mining, Logging and Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2008:

  1. Florida: -1,800
