According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. Washington: 500
  2. Kansas: 300
  3. Maine: 300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. North Carolina: -3,100
  2. New York: -2,300
  3. Michigan: -1,900
