According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2002:

  1. Alaska: 6,300
  2. Oregon: 4,100
  3. Washington: 1,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2002:

  1. New York: -4,400
  2. Massachusetts: -3,500
  3. New Jersey: -3,300
