According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2002:

  1. California: 5,700
  2. New York: 1,400
  3. Wisconsin: 1,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2002:

  1. North Carolina: -1,900
  2. Texas: -1,000
  3. Mississippi: -800
