According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2002:

  1. New York: 2,600
  2. Arkansas: 600
  3. Missouri: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2002:

  1. Alaska: -3,200
  2. Wisconsin: -2,300
  3. Texas: -1,400
