According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry in July, 2003 were:

  1. Alaska: 6,300
  2. Wisconsin: 2,500
  3. Oregon: 1,600

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry in July, 2003 were:

  1. North Carolina: -8,600
  2. Michigan: -4,300
  3. New York: -3,800
