According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2004:

  1. Washington: 1,200
  2. Tennessee: 1,100
  3. Oregon: 800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2004:

  1. New York: -2,700
  2. Pennsylvania: -1,700
  3. New Jersey: -1,600
