According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2004:

  1. California: 3,600
  2. New York: 1,700
  3. Michigan: 1,600

  1. Virginia: -900
