According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2005:

  1. California: 8,100
  2. Alaska: 7,000
  3. Oregon: 3,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2005:

  1. New Jersey: -2,400
  2. North Carolina: -2,300
  3. Massachusetts: -2,200
