According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2005:

  1. Washington: 1,600
  2. Arkansas: 700
  3. Texas: 600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2005:

  1. Alaska: -4,400
  2. Louisiana: -2,700
