According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry in April, 2006 were:

  1. North Carolina: 1,800
  2. Missouri: 800
  3. Michigan: 500

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry in April, 2006 were:

  1. California: -3,000
  2. New Jersey: -1,700
  3. Alaska: -1,300
