According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2006:

  1. Alaska: 5,700
  2. California: 3,800
  3. Oregon: 3,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2006:

  1. Ohio: -4,200
  2. New York: -3,900
  3. North Carolina: -3,000
