According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2008:

  1. New Jersey: 1,000
  2. Mississippi: 300
  3. New Mexico: 300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2008:

  1. North Carolina: -2,700
  2. Alaska: -1,500
  3. Ohio: -1,000
