According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2008:

  1. Alaska: 6,300
  2. California: 4,400
  3. Minnesota: 600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2008:

  1. Michigan: -3,300
  2. Florida: -2,600
  3. Georgia: -2,500
