According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2009:

  1. Alaska: 3,600
  2. Hawaii: -300
  3. North Dakota: -300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2009:

  1. California: -13,800
