According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2011:

  1. California: 2,200
  2. Louisiana: 500
  3. Idaho: 400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2011:

  1. Alaska: -5,000
  2. Michigan: -1,300
  3. Georgia: -1,300
