According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2016:

  1. California: 4,200
  2. Minnesota: 1,100
  3. Maine: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2016:

  1. Alaska: -4,400
  2. Michigan: -400
  3. New York: -200
