According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2016:

  1. California: 4,900
  2. Michigan: 1,700
  3. Ohio: 1,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2016:

  1. Alaska: -1,900
  2. Idaho: -100
  3. North Dakota: 0
