According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2020:

  1. California: 7,400
  2. New York: 1,900
  3. North Carolina: 1,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2020:

  1. Alaska: -3,700
  2. Louisiana: -300
  3. Delaware: -200
