According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2021:

  1. California: 4,500
  2. Michigan: 1,400
  3. New York: 1,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2021:

  1. Alaska: -1,000
  2. Arkansas: -500
  3. Nebraska: -400
