According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. Illinois: 16,400
  2. Michigan: 10,800
  3. New York: 9,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. California: -17,400
  2. New Mexico: -300
  3. Nevada: -100
