According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2004:

  1. Florida: 16,900
  2. California: 12,000
  3. New York: 7,900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2004:

  1. Indiana: -3,600
  2. Michigan: -2,300
  3. Washington: -1,800
