According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2005:

  1. New York: 23,200
  2. Illinois: 22,200
  3. Texas: 19,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2005:

  1. Mississippi: 100
  2. Arkansas: 100
  3. District of Columbia: 400
