According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2005:

  1. Texas: 10,600
  2. California: 10,400
  3. Florida: 9,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2005:

  1. Louisiana: -17,000
  2. New Jersey: -1,900
  3. Pennsylvania: -1,400
