According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2008:

  1. New York: 14,800
  2. California: 6,800
  3. New Jersey: 6,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2008:

  1. Florida: -7,200
  2. Michigan: -3,600
  3. Arizona: -3,300
