According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2008:

  1. New York: 6,500
  2. New Jersey: 5,900
  3. California: 5,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2008:

  1. Georgia: -2,200
  2. Arizona: -2,100
  3. Ohio: -200
