According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2008:

  1. Michigan: 4,100
  2. Louisiana: 2,200
  3. Kansas: 800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2008:
