According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2012:

  1. California: 30,100
  2. Florida: 21,000
  3. New York: 13,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2012:

  1. New Jersey: -1,900
  2. Alabama: -1,400
  3. Alaska: -1,100
