According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2013:

  1. California: 18,100
  2. Florida: 14,600
  3. New York: 11,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2013:

  1. New Jersey: -3,700
  2. Alaska: -1,200
  3. Maryland: -1,000
