According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Retail Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2002:

  1. Alaska: -100
  2. District of Columbia: -100
  3. Montana: -400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Retail Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2002:

  1. California: -22,500
  2. New York: -19,400
  3. Pennsylvania: -15,000
