According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Retail Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2021:

  1. California: 13,700
  2. Florida: 6,500
  3. Georgia: 2,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Retail Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2021:

  1. Colorado: -1,600
  2. Kentucky: -1,100
  3. Massachusetts: -900
