According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Retail Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2021:
- Florida: 5,500
- Arizona: 2,500
- Georgia: 2,500
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Retail Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2021:
- Minnesota: -11,600
- Massachusetts: -11,200
- New Jersey: -9,200
