According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the State Government Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2007:

  1. North Carolina: 24,000
  2. Michigan: 17,700
  3. Ohio: 13,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the State Government Educational Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2007:

  1. Montana: 500
  2. Kentucky: 1,500
