According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the State Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2005:

  1. Massachusetts: 10,200
  2. Pennsylvania: 9,400
  3. Ohio: 8,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the State Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2005:

  1. Wyoming: -100
  2. Rhode Island: 0
  3. South Dakota: 300
