According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the State Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2016:

  1. California: 4,500
  2. Colorado: 4,500
  3. Hawaii: 3,900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the State Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2016:

  1. Connecticut: -400
  2. Idaho: -300
  3. Nevada: -200
