According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2005:

  1. California: 117,300
  2. Florida: 83,500
  3. Texas: 64,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2005:

  1. Delaware: 900
  2. South Dakota: 1,000
  3. Wyoming: 1,200
