According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2011:

  1. California: 82,200
  2. New York: 63,000
  3. Florida: 51,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2011:

  1. Arkansas: -100
  2. Oklahoma: 300
  3. Kansas: 1,400
