According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2015:
- California: 188,900
- New York: 143,900
- Florida: 115,200
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2015:
- Alaska: -16,900
- Maine: -3,400
- Montana: 300
