According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2018:
- California: 128,300
- New York: 111,900
- Florida: 80,200
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2018:
- North Dakota: 1,400
- Montana: 1,600
- Maine: 2,100
