According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2021:
- California: 398,300
- New York: 218,700
- Florida: 182,700
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2021:
- Alaska: -10,400
- Maine: 900
- Montana: 1,900
