According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2022:
- Florida: 27,900
- Colorado: 14,900
- New York: 11,000
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Total Nonfarm industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2022:
- California: -60,000
- Illinois: -32,700
- Minnesota: -31,700
