According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Total Private industry in June, 2010 were:

California: 53,500
New Jersey: 48,900
Illinois: 37,200

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Total Private industry in June, 2010 were:

Arizona: -9,000
Florida: -7,800
Georgia: -5,500
