According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Trade, Transportation, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2005:

  1. District of Columbia: -1,100
  2. Wyoming: -1,800
  3. Alaska: -2,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Trade, Transportation, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2005:

  1. California: -104,600
