According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Trade, Transportation, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2011:
- California: 16,400
- Ohio: 12,800
- New York: 12,200
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Trade, Transportation, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2011:
- Hawaii: -500
- District of Columbia: 300
- Mississippi: 1,000
