According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Trade, Transportation, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2012:

  1. Minnesota: 7,100
  2. California: 6,500
  3. Georgia: 5,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Trade, Transportation, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2012:

  1. New Jersey: -3,300
  2. Arizona: -900
  3. Connecticut: -800
