According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Trade, Transportation, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:
- California: 10,400
- Georgia: 3,700
- North Carolina: 2,300
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Trade, Transportation, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:
- New York: -14,000
- New Jersey: -7,800
- Connecticut: -6,100
