According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Transportation, Warehousing, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. California: 2,800
  2. Illinois: 2,500
  3. Georgia: 2,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Transportation, Warehousing, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:
